The Music Wall Duo (Abigail Walsh, flute; Pei-I Wang, piano) performs works by members of the Composers Alliance of San Antonio.

The Composers Alliance of San Antonio (CASA) will present a concert on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 7:30 P.M. in the Seddon Recital Hall on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word. The featured ensemble, Music Wall Duo, will perform works by CASA composers for flute and piano. Abigail Walsh (flute) and Pei-I Wang (piano), who make up the duo, will also give masterclasses to UIW students on Thursday afternoon.

The concert will feature new works for flute and piano by composers Kevin Salfen, Brian Bondari, Timothy Kramer, Ken Metz, Yvonne Freckmann, Samuel Gaskin, Juan Luis de Pablo

The concert is free of charge, but donations will be accepted at the door. CASA is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to the music of living composers in the San Antonio area. CASA is the only group in the area dedicated to performing the music of living composers, and many of the composers on the program will be present to talk with audience members before and after the event.
